Bethany Methodist Chapel was built in 1896 and rebuilt in 1905 at a cost of £2000 with seating capacity for 450 people. The later chapel was built in the Sub-Classical style of the gable-entry type with a number of Arts and Crafts features. By 1990 Bethany had fallen into disuse.
