A dam, constructed of stone, to retain water in the Upper Neuadd reservoir, NPRN 246463. The dam is listed, Listed Building number 84824, and was completed in 1902. The spillway, slightly offset to the west of centre, is flanked by two towers. The eastern tower is the larger topped with a spire. J.J. Hall, Trysor, 13 November 2008
