Description
Lledrod is a small village situated along the Afon Wyre, approximately seven miles north of Tregaron and eight miles south east of Aberystwyth. The village has developed along a minor road just off the A485. The northern border of the village centre is marked by the former board school (NPRN 23286). It was built in 1859, and later became a primary school, only closing in 2011. At the junction of the minor road and the A485 there was once a post office (NPRN 35149). South of the post office was the corn mill, which was operational until 1930 (NPRN 24764). The other notable building in Lledrod is just south of the old corn mill - St. Michael's parish church was built in 1826 and is still open (NPRN 417696).
