DisgrifiadThe mid nineteenth century slate shipping manager's house and office on Oakeley's Wharf (NPRN 34160). Depicted on an estate map of 1871, the buildings later became a hotel and may now be appartments.
The two storey manager's house faced east, where it had a three bay facade. It is built of coursed rubble with a hipped slate roof. The rear wall is slate-hung. The office building to the south, also two storey, was originally separate. As a hotel the building was turned around to face north and a single storey flat-roofed range was added to the east front. There is a single storey lean-to at the rear of the office.
The building now adjoins the former slate warehouse to the south (NPRN 23235).
