Hen-Ferchlyn is a two storey house with attic. Before being modernised, it was of cruck construction and had an adjoining building. The adjoining building, thought to have been a granary, has been converted to a two-storey dwelling, forming an L-shaped plan with the farmhouse. The upper part of an old star-shaped chimney survives.
