What was recorded in the early 20th century as a circular enclosure, univallate but ditchless, has now been built over. However, some traces of the enclosure may survive in the gardens of houses which now occupy the site. No access to these could be obtained when the site was visited
Believed by Savory to be a probable ring motte.
