Cropmark of curving, apparently plough-levelled bank visible in field to west of castle on APs 965106-58/9. Bank appears to pre-date other boundaries at edge of field. However, quarry ditch fronting the bank comprises series of squared cuttings, similar to recent quarries or peat-cuttings. This may speak for a more recent origin.
