Terminus of the Aberdare Canal (nprn 85373), known as Canal Head. The dock was served by several tramways from nearby collieries and other works and there were buildings, two cranes and two docks. Only the base of one crane (nprn 34420) survives; Canal Head House (nprn 17938) and stables (nprn 91535) remain nearby.
