DisgrifiadThe South Wales Railway opened in 1850 as a broad gauge line between Chepstow and Swansea. It served Newport, Cardiff, Bridgend, Neath, and Swansea, and was completed to Neyland via Carmarthen and Haverfordwest in 1856.
