DisgrifiadA rubble stone quay immediately to the south of the site of the 17th century Melincryddan Canal which marked the original south terminus of the Neath Canal.
On the OS 25-inch map (1877) there is a large building on the quay, which was partly demolished for the Rhondda & Swansea Bay Railway before 1897, and there is also a saw pit.
