What appears to be part of an earthwork enclosure on low lying ground in the Gwili valley can be discerned on RAF veritcal coverage (CPE/UK/1903: 4132). No surveyable remains were found in 1967.
A bank, with hints of an external ditch, of the southern side and rounded corners of a rectilinear enclosure, roughly 45-50m east-west.
A similar earthwork enclosure is recorded futher north in the valley bottom at Glan-gwili (NPRN 405474).
It is possible that these are Roman military works, although other interpretations are perhaps equally likely.
