This is an early-to-mid nineteenth century house said to have been built for the governor of Usk Prison. It is a two storey, three- bay house with scribed stucco and slate roofs. It has a central gabled pediment, sash windows and a nineteenth century door with a central octagonal panel and rectangular panels above and below. The left bay of the house has a first floor splayed oriel with sash glazing over a twentieth century vehicle entrance.
