Disgrifiad
A small round mound 12m in diameter and around 0.8m high. Its appearance and proximity to the platform cairn, Brenig 51 (NPRN 409201) initially suggests a Bronze Age Barrow. However, excavation in 1974 as part of the Brenig Valley excavations carried out in advance of the construction of the Brenig reservoir, revealed this was actually a natural feature ? solid rock with a vein of quartz running across its centre. It is likely that this small outcrop of quartz was used in the neighbouring platform cairn.

The mound was included in a 2009 RCAHMW survey of the Hen Ddinbych landscape (NPRN 411894)
