The church of St Clement, Rhayader is located on the western edge of Rhayader overlooking the River Wye. The church was completely rebuilt in 1887-1897. Only the early font and 18th century gravestones remain of the early church. The present church has a nave and chancel, north aisle, west tower and south porch.
