St Helen's school is located on Vincent Street, within the Sandfields residential area, close to Swansea city centre. The school is likely to have been built in the 1870s as an early board school following the Education Act. The school is run by City and County of Swansea local authority and caters for 3-11 year olds, with approx. As of 2024 there were 260 pupils on roll.
