Disgrifiad
Aberchwiler is a small village located three miles north east of Denbigh, on the southern banks of Afon Chwiler, or the river Wheeler. The village is centred around Waen Welsh Calvinistic Methodist chapel (NPRN 7430), which is still in use as a chapel today. On the first edition of the 25inch OS maps, published in 1889, the village was known as 'Waen,' not 'Aberchwiler.' In addition to the chapel, the settlement had a public house called 'Oak Inn.'
