St Aelhaearn's Church consists of a nave, chancel and trancepts. The nave walls are thought to be 12/13th century, the trancepts were added in the 16-17th century. and the chancel reconfigured and the remainder of the church restored in 1892.
Several inscribed stones are preserved in and around the church (see Nprn's57658, 95325, 95326, 308094).
