1. Built of uncoursed rubble, interior plastered.

2. Parish church of St Mary, Trefrhiw. Traditionally built at the behest of Llywelyn ab Iorwerth in about 1230, although none of the fabric appears to date from this period.
The church consists of two equal aisles. The southern aisle is fitted out as nave and chancel. It is thought to be early 15th century, and retains its original roof. The north aisle is 16th century, two blocked windows remain in the north wall, whilst the pier bases of the arcade separating the two aisles may be ancient.
All current openings, windows and doors the arcade, vestry cum organ loft and bell turret, are 19th century.
