Home Farm, a large late-19th. century purpose-built farmstead, designed as the main dairy-cattle unit to Norton Manor (1858). The farmhouse is set off the SW. corner of a large E-shaped range which house the cattle along with horses and pigs. To the E., connected by a central bridge, is a long hay- barn; other Dutch barns to the E. have been destroyed and replaced by modern sheds. On the E. is a small oval-planned dairy unit. All the buildings are of stone with good dressed details and stand on a level site. But, although some have been destroyed and most have been altered internally, in many cases there remains enough of the original features to identify the use of each unit.
