With sixteenth century origins, The Three Tuns is understood to have formerly been an Inn and is now in residential use. It is a two storey house of eight bays and limestone rubble elevations beneath a longstraw thatch roof. To the ground floor, there are timber casements of two, three and four small paned lights, with two six over six sashes at the East end. The four-centred arched front door has a Victorian hoodmould over with foliate labels. To the first floor, there are eight sashes with glazing bars beneath "eyebrows", with exposed timber lintels. There are assorted casement windows to the ground floor as well as three rubble chimneys, one gable and two axial.

It is listed grade II as a picturesque village house of sixteenth century origins.
