Remains of a large, rectangular ditch and bank defined enclosure extending around the south and east sides of Tan-y-graig. There appears to be a main boundary wall/bank, with further rectangular subdivisions within. The complex was revealed by parching in the grass during RCAHMW aerial reconnaissance on 21st July 2006 (image refs: AP_2006_2927 & 2928). The enclosure could represent a medieval 'cwrt', but seems more likely to represent the remains of a formal garden. The enclosure had passed into dis-use by the time the 1st edition Ordnance Survey County Series map was compiled as no parts of it are shown on this, or later, maps.
