Slate Quarry located in Cwm Dwyfor. Opened in the 1870s and active on the 1st edition Ordnance Survey map of 1889, where the quarry is named as Dol-Evan-gethin but disused by the 2nd edition of 1900.

A hillside working comprising 3 levels, for which a counterbalance incline was linked to and situated on the south side of the lower two levels. These two levels have tramway formations and dressing sheds with waste tipped at the northern end of the level and also directly below the open quarry face on the lowest level.

Slate was transferred via the incline to a water powered mill on the valley floor (NPRN 421356) and from here the finished product was carted out of the valley.

There is also said to have been some Copper mining at this site.
