"This is a natural spring on Kenfig Burrows beside a footpath leading from the main road to Waun y Mer Farmhouse, near Porthcawl. The spring still flows and is enclosed within a D-shaped protective wall of rough limestone blocks, capped with larger slabs. It is said to be dedicated to St David and was restored in 1985 ( by the Pyle and Kenfig golf club and the Manpower Services Commission)." Paul R. Davis 2016.
