DisgrifiadUpton Memorial Ground is the home of Chepstow Rugby Football Club. It is situated on the southern edge of the town, immediately north of the roundabout at Junction 2 of the M48. 'Chepstow Rugby club was formed in 1869 by former pupils of Chepstow Grammar School under the mentorship of headmaster George Dewdney. Then in 1881 Chepstow player Edward Peake was selected to represent the very first Welsh rugby international, played against England.'
The grounds also has a hall for hire which is used for events such as weddings, christenings, parties, exercise classes and presentation evenings.
