DisgrifiadBwlchbuchan House is believed tohave been built between 1849-1851, with stable and coach house.Cnstructed of sandstone rubble, the house was probably originally roughcast or stuccoed, with tooled sandstone dressings and slate hipped roofs. There is a two-storey, six-window front, with 3-window sides and a slightly lower 6-window service range behind. There are deep bracketed eaves. The front has six 12-pane first floor hornless sashes and two semi-circular three-window ground floor stone bays with French windows and top-lights. The east side has similar three first floor windows, above ground floor French windows. There is a slightly off-centre big rounded porch.
