Penuel Methodist Chape; was built in 1825, modified in 1838, rebuilt in 1865, and renovated 1911-13. The present chape;, dated 1865, was built to the design of architect Thomas Thomas of Landore, in the Classical style with a gable-entry plan, two storeys, basement and large arch in the facade. The twentieth century renovations were undertaken by architects Habershon and Fawckner of Newport. By 1996 this chapel had been converted for use as a scout hall.
