Soar Methodist Chapel was built in 1834 and rebuilt in 1903. The later chapel is built in the Classical style, with a gable entry plan, two storeys, a large arch in the facade and tall rounded headed windows Itwas designed by architect W.Cunllo Griffiths of Pontyberem. By 1905 Soar had replaced Hen Gapel Soar (NPRN:6398) which became the Sunday School.
