Site shown on OS 1:2500 map 1970 as 'Our Lady's Church (RC)'. Built in 1965 to designs by F. R. Bates, Son & Price. The church has a prominent open campanile of reinforced concrete, forming interlocking crosses, a cubic interior with a cylindrical hanging figure over the altar. Stained glass includes a signed work by John Petts and scenes of the Passion across the partition between the vestibule and the church.
