DisgrifiadBethel Weslayn Methodist Chapel was built in 1938 to fulfill the needs of the Gilfach Goch Methodists, who until this time had met in a tent and a corrugated iron hut. This is an inpressive chapel constructed in the Arts and Crafts style with elements of Art Deco. There is a stepped porch dominated by a central doorway with a perndicular arch door, flanked by pillars of brown brick. Above the porch is a large mullioned window with a similar arch, flanked by pillasters. The outer bays are lit by plain flat-headed windows and the steeply pitched roof is half hipped to the facade.
