The earthworks of a house platform set into a south-east facing slope. The platform is about 20m north-west to south-east by 16m, with a step part way along. It is hooded at the north-west end and terraced out at the south-east.
There are other similar house platforms to the south-west (NPRN15351) and north-east (NPRN 307277, 15349).
House platforms such as these are characteristic of upland settlement in the region from at least the thirteenth century. They were probably associated with small scale cultivation and seasonal grazing.
