Main fabric C13 with C15 and later detailing. Single chamber design with medieval bellcote at W gable end. Limestone rubble construction with yellow and red/brown sandstone dresings. Continuous nave and chancel with fine C15 7-bay arched-braced collar trussed roof. Chancel separated by C15 perpendicular Rood screen. Church houses a number of significant C16-C19 monuments.
