St Tyrnog's Church, Llandyrnog, is believed to date from the 15th century. It was restored by Nesfield in 1877. It consists of 2 naves both with arched braced roofs, 5-bay arcade, Gothic double west bellcote and a timber framed south porch with decorative roundels.  The church once featured blackletter "Old English texts in curious borders", which were found and destroyed during the restoration of 1878.
