The Queen's Hotel was built in 1855 as an integral part of St George's Crescent (NPRN 16658).
Facing the promenade is a five bay facade, three storeys with attics and basement. It is stuccoed and the ground floor is rusticated. The three bay elevation to Clonmel Street is similar, with a centrally placed doorway and a porch with paired Ionic columns. Beyond this is a recessed bay and then a second block, four storeys with ground floor bay windows rising out of the basement area.
