Open stope working cut into the edge of a precipitous drop to the valley bottom which is covered in deciduous woodland. The stope is open, partially collapsed at the entrance and partly filled with a heap of sheep carcasses. The mineral vein can be seen striking ENE-WSW. A low stone wall exists at the entrance to the stope. There is no spoil as this was thrown down the steep slope outside the entrance. No evidence of an access path which has probably slumped downslope. (CPAT 1997).
