No. 9 is a small single storey cottage squeezed in between No. 8 George Hill, a small late eighteenth century house (NPRN 17360), and the Dinefwr Park wall.
No. 9 is probably mid to late nineteenth century and is depicted on the 1st edition OS County series (Carmarthen. XXXIII. 15 1886). It has random stone rubble walls, now under whitewashed roughcast, with brick arches to the doors and windows. It has a gently pitched roof of Caernarvon slate with brick end chimney stacks. Facing George Hill it has a central doorway flanked by large sash windows. At the rear is a doorway and a single large sash window. The south wall is angled in to avoid the park wall.
It is possible that this was originally a workshop attached to No. 8.
