Dunraven Castle was a castellated mansion, built from around 1800 onwards and demolished in 1962. It was on the site of an earlier mansion, described as a 'manor place' in the 1530s, but referred to as a castle in about 1580. It is set upon the ramparts of a promontory fort (nprn 300161).
