2. A Carrara Marble Urn, one of the last works of Thomas Banks, formerly in Mariamne's Garden, was removed at an unknown date, and by the 1970s sat outside the National Library of Wales, Aberystwyth, in the garden exposed to the elements. It is now on display inside the Library. It commemorated the death of Mariamne Johnes's robin redbreast and is inscribed with an ode to same by Samuel Rogers.
