Disgrifiad
1. Built near base of folly tower by ruins of mansion. Access now impossible, but ice-house entered by right-angled passage c.6m. long overall. Known to be 4m. deep and therefore presumably with domed top. Covered by mount spreading out 6m. from base of tower, greatest height of 3.20m. 3. Depicted on the Second Edition Ordnance Survey 25-inch map of Glamorgan XLIV, sheet 7 (1899).

4. Probably constructed between 1840 and 1857. The icehouse is entered by a right angled passage, c 6m, overall. Separated into airlocks by three doors, the passage leads to a central subterranean globe chamber, 4m deep, with very thick insulating walls, over 2.5m in places. The structure is covered by a mound spreading out 6m from the base of a nearby tower.
