Cofnod Safle

There was little sign of the building or buildings at Blaen y Cwm, shown on the Merthyr Cynog parish tithe map of 1840 and the early Ordnance Survey maps, when the site was visited in April 2008. A level terrace, 16m by 6m, cut into the east facing slope was where the house had stood but there was no above ground structural evidence visible. Vegetation cover was reeds and grass. J.J.
