Cofnod Safle

A covered firing position, part of a defensive position NPRN 242112 on the Sennybridge Dry Training Area. It consisted of an underground linear chamber, 9m north northwest-south southeast by 1m wide. Access to the chamber was through two hatches, one at each end which were covered by removable wooden covers. It was probably similar to NPRN 242257, either end being semicircular, formed of bent tin, and the chamber roof having an arch to it, again formed from bent tin, but the covered hatches prevented further investigation.
