The Old Grenade Range was built here in the early 1960s according to RG Church, 1990, Sennybridge Training Area 1940-1990, page 31. It consisted of a control tower, and brick and concrete structures before the newer facilities of the Dry Firing Area had been added. The Grenade Range became disused around 1980 when a new Grenade range was built elsewhere on the SENTA training area. The site is now used as a training centre like the farms on the range. J.J.
