Disgrifiad
A probable long hut, possibly a sheepfold, measuring 6.5m east-west x 5m, with well-built drystone walls standing up to 0.75m high. Its western side is revetted into a steep, east-facing slope. The entrance is positioned at the western end of the northern side. Also built into this northern lateral wall is a small aperture at ground level, which may have acted as a drainage channel through the wall. Internally, the structure was reed-filled, although the surrounding hillside was mostly grassy, with some reed tufts when the site was visited in June 2008. It is part of deserted rural settlement NPRN 246615. J.J. Hall, Trysor, 28 June 2008.
