A dam built to retain water in the Lower Neuadd reservoir, NPRN 246462. The dam was constructed of earth or puddle clay, according to HD Bowtell and G Hill, 2006, "Reservoir Builders of South Wales", and completed by 1884. When visited in 2008, the dam was still intact.
