DisgrifiadFelin Llwynddyrys is depicted on the 1st edition (1889) of the historic 25-inch O. S. maps as "Melin", and on the 2nd and 3rd editions (1900 and 1918) as "Felin"; but in none of the editions is the placename ascribed to the mill itself. In 1974 it was described as a small L-shaped water mill, probably built in the 19th century. The building was still intact but the machinery was mostly damaged or had gone.
In the late 1980s the mill was converted to a dwelling, and the remaining machinery was removed. Its Grade II Listing was deleted in April 1989.
