A small earthwork feature of uncertain purpose. It has been created by digging a hollow into a steep southwest-facing slope, with the excavated material then being used to create a broad bank that defines the southwestern side, a method also used to create larger platforms further to the east (NPRNs 247045, 247046 & 247048). It measures 4.5m southeast-northwest x 3.5m. Vegetation cover in January 2009 was bracken. J.J. Hall, Trysor, 12 January 2009
