1. Remains of mill and leat, probably medieval, visible as a depression in ground adjacent to embanked pond.
2. The earthworks remains of Cliffwood medieval mill, partially excavated, are much as described in the Glamorgan Inventory, vol III (ii), p.372.

3. Excavation of the mill site, in 1978, revealed a stone building, 11m NW-SE by 7.0m, with a wheel pit on the NE side, in association with 13-14th c. pottery. Thought to have been disused by 1622.
