Situated approximately 3km west of Beulah, at the north-eastern edge of the Irfon Forest, just to the south of an intersection of footpaths, Cae-Gwyn is the remains of a 18th-19th century, rectangular stone house of rubble in clay, which is rendered over. The building is marked on the OS 25 inches to the mile map of 1888. The house was demolished by the Forestry Commission.
