Mine 1796-1877. Pumping wheelpit measuring c.14m x 4m, aligned with bob-pit and main shaft, appears to have housed a 36ft x 4ft wheel
(PF 1995).
Masonry still in good condition. No mechanical parts remain apart from wheel armature
(RSJ 2000).
