Ynys-y-maengwyn garden is depicted on the Second Edition Ordnance Survey 25-inch map of Merionethshire XLVI, sheet 6 (1901). Its main elements on that map include lodge, boathouse, footbridge, greenhouse, walk, walled garden and well.
