Described as a single room cottage in the Caernarfonshire Inventory, but the AP and to some extent the mapping shows a more extensive structure with further ranges of what were possibly outbuildings as well as open folds. The site is essentially an abandoned farmstead, shown as roofless on the 1st ed 25 inch OS map (ca 1888). To the immediate W of the farmstead are large enclosed areas now apparently abandoned and part of the open grazing area (Fridd).
